As we reached Shangarh, we were welcomed by lush green meadows, wooden houses, and the pure mountain air. After checking into a warm and cosy homestay, we took some time to relax before heading out to explore the iconic Shangarh meadows, framed by majestic deodars and guarded by the sacred Sangchul Mahadev Temple. Stories and folklore of the valley added a mystical touch to the natural beauty around us. The day ended with a peaceful bonfire under a star-filled sky and a delicious home-style dinner. The next morning began with a short but scenic hike to the serene Pundrik Rishi Lake, surrounded by tall pine forests and ancient wooden temples. It was a tranquil escape into nature’s lap, perfect for reflection and photos alike. On our way back to Delhi, we stopped at Raila village to explore the old Raila Fort and hike to the refreshing Raila Waterfall. After lunch, we drove to Aut and boarded our overnight vehicle, hearts complete and phones filled with memories.
